Ballincollig Tidy Towns volunteers had another productive week despite heavy rain, with litter picking, edging, weeding and biodiversity work carried out across the town. Major efforts focused on Poulavone Roundabout, Old Fort Road and Westcliffe, while the restored bee boxes were returned to Poulavone as part of the town’s Pollinator Corridor. The group also welcomed visiting Brownies to learn about composting, water harvesting and pollinator projects ahead of Biodiversity Week 2026.
