Ballincollig Tidy Towns continued its busy summer schedule with 26 volunteers taking part in the weekly litter pick and maintenance projects across the town. In response to the national hose ban, the group introduced an alternative river water supply to keep planters thriving. Volunteers completed the Himalayan balsam removal project in the Regional Park, carried out clean-ups and vegetation management at Community Drive, Old Fort Road, Church View, the Link Road and Coolroe, while ongoing watering, grass cutting and biodiversity work ensured Ballincollig’s public spaces remained in excellent condition.
